JB holds the NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) in Life and Health and Investments.
Before entering financial solutions, JB enjoyed a career as a professional cricketer, representing his country on the international stage, before going on to establish and run his own cricket academy. The disciline, resilience, and strategic thinking developed through elite sport continue to shape his professional approach - particularly his ability to perform under pressure, communicate clearly, and focus on achieving long-term results.
He has extensive experience working with professionals as well as rural and farming clients, who's financial planning needs often require specialized insight and a practical, solutions focused mindset. JB takes pride in simplifying complex financial concepts, ensuring clients feel informed, empowered, and confident in their decisions.
Outside of his professional life, JB is a devoted family man and proud father of three. He remains actively involved in cricket through coaching and playing, enjoys times wiht family and friends and makes the most of the Taranaki lifestyle to head out on the water for a fishing trip.
